Optimizing Resources

We process gas from onshore and offshore sources, and produce a range of products including methane, ethane, propane, butane, paraffinic naphtha, condensates ­­­­­and sulphur.

Every day we deliver over 10,500 tonnes of ethane, in addition to 4,300 MMSCF of sales gas, 217,000 barrels of condensate and 33,900 tonnes of propane, butane and naphtha. These products fuel the nation’s industries, supporting the manufacture of aluminium, cement, steel, fertilizer, chemical feedstock, water and electricity.

Our plants are located in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi and Ruwais, and are connected to a 3000km pipeline network that enables us to distribute gas and other products throughout the UAE. We also export products from Ruwais, serving international markets including China, France, India, Japan, Turkey and Taiwan.

ADNOC Gas Processing works in close cooperation with other ADNOC Group companies, including ADNOC Onshore, which supplies feed gas; ADNOC Refining, which processes the condensate we produce; Borouge, which manufactures plastics using ethane from our plants; and other shareholders, which export our products from Ruwais to our international customers. We also granulate sulphur on behalf of ADNOC Sour Gas, ADNOC Refining, and ADNOC LNG.
